Terry Deary




Terry Deary is an author, screen-writer, playwright, presenter and actor. He is probably best known for the "HORRIBLE HISTORIES" series of books that spawned a BBC television series and a play, "BARMY BRITAIN" that was in the West End.

He has also written about 250 other fiction and non-fiction titles. The most recent of these are "PUT OUT THE LIGHT" which won the Sheffield Libraries fiction prize and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and "DANGEROUS DAYS IN THE ROMAN EMPIRE", which has recently been published and is the 1st title in a series of four.

He has presented several TV programmes, including one about the battle of Towton for BBC Yorkshire and has several factual/fact ent proposals in development.
