Peter Capaldi


Peter is an actor/writer/director. He trained at the Glasgow School of Art and made an early appearance in the Bill Forsyth film, “LOCAL HERO”. His many other acting credits include:  “THE LADYKILLERS” in the West End, “THE THICK OF IT” as Malcolm Tucker and the film “IN THE LOOP”.

As a writer/director, he won an Oscar and BAFTA for his short film “FRANK KAFKA’S IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE”.  He wrote the screenplay for “SOFT TOP, HARD SHOULDER” directed by Stephan Schwartz and wrote and directed “STRICTLY SINATRA”.
He directed the first series of the BBC4 comedy hit “GETTING ON” and wrote and directed  the single film“CRICKLEWOOD” also for BBC4.

Peter has recently been announced as the new ‘DR. WHO’.
